Mechanic's Assistant: Is the check engine light on? Does the Dodge stall at idle or when driving?
No check engine light. stalls while city driving (low speeds) "stutters" at any speed. Very random, could go a while with nothing then does it several times in a row. Or sometimes just once.
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Ram 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Myself. Seafoam through tank, premium fuel, quarter tank at a time, several times. Changed the MAP this morning and the air cleaner.
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
Noting I can think of

First thing i check on these with driveability issues is fuel pressure . These fuel pumps will act up for a while before they just stop working

Quick question I did not think about earlier. Dumb one really... Does it matter that I did not unplug the [battery](/topics-battery-dodge/) while changing this sensor? It would reset the computer, correct?

Still not sure what you need?
Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
Those codes are mostly for the transmission control module. I would have a technician come out and test fuses and check voltages and look for a shorted wire. It will probably be a 20 amp fuse for the ECM. (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ecm-power-relay-replacement)...
Hi there. Water leaking into the vehicle accompanied with low coolant level points in the direction of a leaking heater core. The heater core is a device through which hot engine coolant flows. It's design is similar to the engine...
The "stiff" gas pedal issue (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/gas-pedal-is-stuck-inspection) is most likely caused by a dirty throttle body in the air intake system. Cleaning the throttle body (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/clean-throttle-body) should relieve this symptom. The lack of "Drive" selection, unless first selecting "Reverse", could be...
Hello. If the refrigerant is full then the problems is more than likely electrical or the compressor failed. I would check for power first at the compressor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ac-compressor-replacement). If there is power then the compressor is bad. If there is...
Hi there. I believe O'reilly's sold you an IAC (idle air control valve) from the description you have given. OEM is the acronym for original equipment manufacturer. Seems odd that it was only fixed for a couple of hours. Sometimes...
Hello, this sounds like a problem with the governor, perhaps the governor spring to be specific. If the spring breaks, it will not allow the 1-2 shift. The fluid leak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/oil-fluid-leak-inspection) is likely not a big deal on its own...
Hi there. Either the shifter rail is damaged inside the transmission keeping the gears from going into reverse and the first gear from connecting all the way, or the transmission first and reverse gears are damaged causing the transmission to...
It is quite possible that during a jump, some of the wiring may have been jarred loose or potentially caused a grounding problem for the fuel pump resulting in the fuel pump fuse continuously popping when the current is not...
The coolant level is checked by looking at the plastic reservoir (overflow) tank. You should see a min. (minimum) and max. (maximum) levels marked on the reservoir. When the vehicle is stone cold, the level of coolant in the tank...
