When idle, I have noticed my rpm drop slightly and go back up to where it was. I can feel the [engine](/topics-engine-chrysler/) going as well, lightly
Mechanic's Assistant: How many miles are on the car? What size is the engine?
130,000 and a v6
Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Chrysler(###) ###-####
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Chrysler [200](/topics-200/) yourself? What have you tried so far?
So far all I have done was pour fuel injector cleaner into the tank on two occasions
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
I had a misfire that caused the check engine light to blink. It turned off after blinking. This made me buy the injector cleaner. It has not happened again since that one time.

Hello and welcome to Just Answer. I'm Paul, And happy to help you with your question today.
I would suspect an issue with the throttle body. you can try having the throttle body cleaned and I would also have a scan tool plugged in to make sure there are no fault codes.
With idle issue suspect the throttle body may be dirty or faulty.
If you need more help just reply, and let me know.
Thank you,
Paul

I’m having a fuel system cleaning done tomorrow which includes the throttle body. Thanks for your help! I will reach out again if this does not solve the problem. It apparently was never done for the car so I suspect this may fix it.

If the throttle body being cleaned wasn’t the cause, what else would you suspect?

the Throttle body would be to blame you need to have a diagnostic before condemning the Throttle body that would run between $100-130 at shop
Still not sure what you need?
