Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
There was a small dent in the fender from a parking garage gate that shit on me. I went to have this repaired which meant the fender needed to be removed. After it was repaired, the feature did not work any more. It worked after the damage. Also no a mechanic will be repairing this
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
\*shut on me. Sorry

Hello there, I am Cam.
I am licensed automotive technician with more than 18 years experience.
As an expert on the site, I only have access to your question. Any billing questions or concerns would require a customer service specialist.
A couple things before we get going;
- I am around most days but not every minute of every day. If you reply while I am offline, I will respond when I am next online.
-I am a Firefighter/Paramedic which might require me to drop and run at any time without warning. If this happens, I will reply as soon as I am able to.
-The website will automatically offer a phone call. Some times they are beneficial, sometimes not.
I am sorry to hear you are having troubles with your vehicle. While I am looking at your question, can you tell me who I have the pleasure of assisting today?
Do you get any warnings on the dash?

Ok, I suspect there may be code set. Did the shop scan the vehicle?
Customer

I was told They sent it to the tech. It was there probably 40 minutes. I assume they did a scan because my chevy mylink (on the dash) was completely reset

But it still did not work after that, was this a GM tech or an different shop?

Right. This is the shop that performed the repair that lead to this problem. I don't think it was a gm tech. I personally checked the vehicle lock settings and everything works except the passenger side handle buttons, front and rear.

Does everything in the passengers door work otherwise? lock and such?
Customer

I can lock from the passenger side and all doors lock. Give me like 2 mins and I will see if the interior lock buttons on the passenger side work...brbIt works

Ok, so this sounds like the antenna in the passengers [door handle](/topics-door-handle-chevy/) that has failed. I would still want to check with the gm scan tool to verify.

Yes, Since this worked prior to the repair, I would think that it shovel be covered by the shop.

Hi there. When you are in an accident in this vehicle the inertia fuel shut off switch will trip and shut the fuel system down. That is in the trunk and will typically need to be reset or replaced. If...
Hello, the easy way to test your status or shock is to go to the corner of the vehicle and give it a good bounce up and down. Once you stop bouncing it, it should only continue for one and...
Hello. This is a common issue that many 350Z owners encounter. The cause of the problem is usually due to a faulty window regulator but of course it could be a faulty switch, fuse, or window motor. I suggest getting...
Depending on the engine that is in your particular vehicle, you might not have a timing belt but a chain. Timing belts don't really make noises associated with lose belts. If a timing belt is loose the engine will jump...
I would say the tensioner (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-drive-belt-tensioner) was overlooked on the last repair and the oil pressure switch may have been damaged in the repair process. I would recommend having the repairs done, but ask for the old parts to see...
A broken rocker arm would definitely make a lot of noise and cause a constant misfire in the cylinder it is related to. My best advice would be to hire an experienced technician to look over the work to see...
As a technician, anytime two sensors fail at once, I suspect there is something that both these sensors have in common. This common item is the likely point of failure. It is unlikely that two sensors would fail at the...
This year of Honda Accord came equipped with either rear drum or rear disc brakes. Your vehicle would need to be inspected to see what it was equipped with.
Since you have replaced so many parts , it would be very difficult to determine what exactly is causing this without performing a physical inspection. I wouild stronly recommend having your vehicle inspected by a qualified professional to trace down...
