Right ok so next time it dies I want you to spray or pour cold water on the crank sensor and see if it restarts right away.

attached is the code diagnostic sheet and the sensor replacement instructions just to be sure you replaced the right sensor.
I hope this helps Mark.

The P0335 in fact indicates an issue with the crankshaft sensor, which obviously you know.
I think there may be an intermittent connectivity issue to the crankshaft sensor or a faulty part.
1-Was the crankshaft sensor installed an OEM part or aftermarket?
2-Have you scoped the crankshaft signal when the vehicle will crank but, not start?
If your scan tool reads live data, when the vehicle will not start, monitor engine RPM and see if you're getting a reading of 150RPM or more. If no RPM reading, that's good indicator that we still have a crankshaft sensor issue.

Not sure it was OME or not we did not do a scope . The thing is it will start randomly and runs perfectly after about 5 or 10 mins and just shuts off like you turns the key off

Understood. How about a scan tool that reads live data? Do you have one of those?
Customer

Just have a scan tool that will read the codes

Okay understood. To confirm the issue here, we need to see live RPM data when the issue occurs.
You may be able to see the tachometer move (if equipped) when the vehicle will crank but, not start.
If it raises above zero when cranking, but not starting, our issue is not the crank sensor but, something else.

I will check that

The tach doesn’t move while cranking

Got it. I would say we still have a crank sensor issue then. Try wiggling the connector and wiring to the sensor and while an assistant attempts to start the vehicle.

We are now getting a P2101 code as well

Okay thanks. Let me look that up.
That code indicates a fault with the throttle body actuator.
Leaving the key on, remove the intake boot to the throttle body. Have an assistant press the gas pedal to the floor. Can you see the throttle plate move inside the throttle body?

To move forward, we're going to need a scan tool that can read live data.
Customer

Well if I can not start it how will that help
Lou Palomino

We'll be able see what data line skewed preventing the vehicle from starting. Live data can still be viewed even with the vehicle not running.
