Mechanic's Assistant: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
The light stays on.
Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?
2002 Chevy suburban
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
At first I thought it might be the oil pan gasket. I replaced it. No luck. I looked closer. It looks like it's running down the back of the motor.
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
That's all.

Hello, It is a pleasure to get to assist you.
Sorry to hear about your issue.
To answer your question, Yes a fluctuating oil pressure could mean the sending unit is going bad.
But if you have a leak somewhere I would first repair the leak.

I've had this vehicle for 3 yrs. It's had this leak the whole time I had it. I thought it was the oil pan gasket. I replaced it but that wasn't it. On a second look I saw it was leaking down the back of the motor. I thought maybe it's the rear main seal. But I figured if it was the rear main,it would be dumping oil. But the leak seems to stay the same. But my main question is,should I replace the switch and the sensor? One or the other?? How can you tell which one is leaking??

You should be able to look at tell which is leaking.
Still not sure what you need?
Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
Your BMW is fuel injected so I'm guessing you cleaned out your throttle body. The next thing I would look into is the coil for the culprit cylinder, have a certified mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, inspect your vehicle (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/engine-is-misfiring-inspection)...
How much weight you should tow depends largely on your trailer tow. However, you should never tow a trailer of more than 1,000 lbs, and if you have the fuel economy model, you shouldn’t tow any trailer, ever.

Hello - your symptoms suggest the clutch hydraulics (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-a-hydraulic-clutch-system-works) or mechanical linkage components have failed completely. The OEM clutch line includes a "quick-connect" fitting that may have come loose or failed, given the recent maintenance. Checking the fluid level, and...
