This can physically be done but you will need to transfer over the wiring harness and PCM. There will be other modifications required to make this work but the 6 and 8 cylinder were designed to fit into both of those chassis.

Ok yes we know the witing harness and all the computer components will need to be changed as well and we have all of those. Will the transmission need to be changed or will the v6 tran bolt up to the v8 tran?Oh and both are automatic and 4x4
