Hey so my 1997 Silverado C1500 v6 4.3L has been making a ticking sound the past week in the [engine](/topics-engine-chevy/). What could that be exactly cause when I accelerate it gets louder and quicker. Mechanic's Assistant: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
