Q: Carburetor adjustment
Going to rent a car...and, then going driving in the mountains. Should I make sure the carburetor has been adjusted for mountain driving? What will happen to the car...if the carburetor is not properly adjusted? Thank you,
Today’s fuel injected vehicles have computers that control the adjustment of fuel flow into the motor via the throttle body or in some cases, directly to the fuel injectors. In this case, there would be no need to adjust anything regardless of the altitude you are driving in as the computer makes these adjustments on its own.
