Howdy from Tennessee, I'm Chris aka Moose. Who am I helping today? I'm glad you've come here to get help. I will do my best to get the answer you are looking for. I help many customers, so sometimes my replies are delayed, I will respond once available. I try to be online at 1-5 pm and 10 pm-5 am every day.
First off you need to decide what bracket you want to run in. Some places offer a compact class, 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder class, then a full size. You need to read up on the rules to see what is allowed and not allowed. Next is to find the new to you car to turn it into junk at the end of the night. Start off with the used car ads in hopes to find a car already running for cheap. If you come up with poor results then off to the junkyard to find a car. Do not worry about body damage since that is going to happen soon thereafter. Finding a good strong powertrain and drivetrain is the goal. Then do all the modifications allowed to improve the car for its intended purpose.
Thank you for seeking us for help, I hope I provided what was needed. Press reply if you need to follow up. If you liked my answer please let me know so I can mark your question complete. Moose

Still not sure what you need?
Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
Have the drive shaft joints and rear axle pinion bearing checked to see if they have excessive play. Also, check to see if you have any broken motor or transmission mounts. This should help narrow down the problem for you....
You may have gotten a defective oil filter. I would not try and run the motor until you replace the filter again. Once it is replaced then start and run engine for a minute or less to see if it...
Hi there. Typically the ABS and fuel system are not related, so replacing the speed sensor might have been a part of the speedometer issue; but most likely not the other issues. Since multiple systems appear to be illuminated on...
You will need to have the damage to the ignition lock cylinder housing checked to see if just the lock cylinder can be replaced if no damage to housing was done. You will need to have the door and trunk...
Hi there. Unfortunately, this is not a service our mobile mechanics offer; due to the complexity of the service and the need to program (which can only be done at an authorized dealership or Toyota repair facility).
Car manufacturers require that tire pressure be set to the required psi before the vehicle is driven on the roadway. Tire pressure has to be measured and set before the car has operated on the roadway because friction from operation...
You would need to open the hood and locate the back of the lights. Then with using a large pair of needle nose pliers, turn the lights counter clockwise and the lock to the bulbs will come off. Then pull...
It sounds like this may be related to a couple of different possibilities. This could be a bad idler pulley bearing (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/drive-belt-tensioner-replacement), which is a bearing inside an idler wheel that the serpentine belt rides on. When these bearings wear...
