Hi. I'm Daniel,
I'll be the mechanic assisting you today.
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you have with your X3.
Let's see if we can figure this out and get you back on the road quickly.
Most likely the transmission speed sensor is located "inside" the transmission.
Can you send me the VIN from your car so that I can check this for you?

Thanks for waiting.
Your car has a input and output speed sensor.
Both are located _inside _the transmission and attached to the mechatronic module.
To access the sensors, the transmission oil sump needs to be removed. This will give access to remove the mechatronic unit itself as the sensors are located on top of the module.
I added a few pictures for you.
I hope this helps at this point, let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Have you been able to re-fill the transmission according to the manual.
In addition, did you use a OEM part as replacement and are there any relevant fault codes stored now in the EGS (transmission control module)?

You would need to hook up a scanner to read out the stored codes.
However the warnings indicate a issue on the stability system and this may not be related.

Do you think that we hooked something up wrong when we put the part in

This is hard to say as I can't see the car myself.
If you are in doubt you can re-check your work.
Also make sure that you fill the transmission correctly afterwards.I won't be online today anymore but able to assist you further tomorrow if needed.
Hope you have the car back on the road soon.
Still not sure what you need?

From your description, it sounds as though the engine is turning over, but it will not start and run. This particular year of F-150 with the 5.0 had many possible causes of a no-start. The distributor ignition module and starter...
Depends on if the engine is overheating or not. It would not stall on turns only, if it was overheating (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-causes-a-car-to-overheat). It would stall a lot more often than that. You may have a problem with the EGR valve sticking...
Hello. You will need to have the vehicle taken to a mechanic that has the special tool to get the broken plug out (maybe). I say maybe cause the tool may not get out the broken pieces and the cylinder...
