Following multiple diagnostic test on my 2012 Nissan Murano, I keep getting same codes fault codes P0011 & P021! I have managed have oil + filter changed twice in the last 4 months (5 w30 synthetic) and had codes cleared but after about 50 miles the check engine light pops back on! Far as i can tell, Vehicle does not run rough, has not died on me (yet) and seems to idle fine. Following some recent research, I found forum that stated how it was not common for both camshaft position sensors to go out at same time and included how an owner of a 04 Murano experienced same codes but rather than going costly route of replacing both CS sensors, all he did to to correct problem with faulty (false) sensor readings was use brake cleaner to clean electrical connector on wiring harness going to "intake valve timing control solenoid". Can offer advice regarding whether or not I should try same troubleshooting step on my 2012?. Could you plz please provide diagram - I don't know location of sens

The solenoid is mounted to the front engine cover, toward the front of the engine compartment, and above the crankshaft pulley. The two codes, P0011 and P0021 signify a fault in the variable valve timing control system. Although the engine could appear to run well, there might be some degradation in fuel efficiency, as well as higher exhaust emissions, associated with these two trouble codes. Repairing or replacing the wiring to the camshaft oil control valve is on the list of repair strategies. If no problem with the solenoid circuit is found, other causes of the code include: a faulty camshaft oil control valve, a jumped timing chain alignment, oil viscosity is incorrect and/or the camshaft phasers are stuck in the advanced position.
