Okay so first I put my key in the ignition, turn the key to turn on power to the car, but when I turn the key to actually start the car it doesn't crank or turn over just starts to make a clicking noise. So I call aaa & they give me a jump & it starts just fine, but when I go to start it again later on after driving it I had the same problem, but this time when trying to jump from someone else's car it's like the car is trying to start but won't roll over. The battery in he car is only a couple months old
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi Rashaun. Thanks for sending your question to us today. If you’re able to start the vehicle with a jump-start, then it’s likely that your battery has lost cranking amps. This usually happens when an alternator breaks or other charging system components are damaged. It’s probably best to have the alternator tested or have a professional mechanic complete a battery will not hold a charge inspection.
