I've been an automotive technician since 2006. I attended Kennedy-King College's automotive program and worked as a full service technician at Sears. My experience is primarily with Domestic and Asian vehicles, as well as diesel engines. Whatever the issue might be, my customers can count on me to get their car repaired and ready for the road.

James was willing to squeeze his schedule for me on early Thanksgiving morning to fix another root of the problem such as a damaged pulley with its bearings loose. He was very knowledgeable about cars and communicative when it came to normal conversation. He let me see what he was doing with the belt area and he was giving me automotive tips. I was satisfied he got the belt up and running without any problems at all. I recommend James to anyone else who doesn't want to pay for expensive service repairs at dealerships or automotive service repair chains.

The original parts ordered ended up not being appropriate for the needed repair and he helped to ensure the new parts would arrive timely and he could still get my repair completled prior to me needed to go on a roadtrip. James is very personable and it is obvious he knows his trade well. I highly recommend him and will use him again when the need arises.

Very professional and knowledgeable about his craft
James was friendly and professional while replacing the starter to my vehicle on a particularly windy evening. He took the time to ensure the starter was the issue before replacing it, and found an issue with cables running to my battery I was unaware of and taped them up so they were safe and usable until I could have them replaced in the future. I was initially weary about using this new service, but after my experience I would highly recommend YourMechanic and James to anyone needing something fixed or replaced in their car!
