Worn out suspension parts

If the rotor or drum is warped in any way, then the friction provided to the brake pads is intermittent. This intermittent friction can cause vibrations and often sounds like the brake is slipping on the disk. Vibration that occurs only during braking is an indicator that this is the problem.

Unbalanced wheels

In order to rotate smoothly and evenly, wheels must be properly balanced. If something happens to the wheel or tire that disrupts the distribution of weight, violent shakes and vibrations can occur. If the vibration occurs consistently around a certain speed, then this is likely the issue.
