Your car just discovered a brand new clicking sound every single time your car makes a turn. Is it dangerous? Not if you handle it the right way. In most of today’s vehicles, this clicking sound is a healthy warning that your car may need some minor suspension work.

Common reasons for this to happen:

Torn CV Boot

Your CV boot can get gradually torn or wear out over the course of time.

Worn CV Joint

The internal lubricants that protect the sensitive metals within the boot will lose their lubrication and begin to run dry, resulting in metal-to-metal contact.

Other Nearby Parts Are Damaged

Your driveshaft, wheels, and tires can all make similar unusual sounds if they get damaged.

What to expect:

A top-rated mobile mechanic will come to your home or office to determine the source and cause of the clicking noise, and will then provide a detailed inspection report that includes the scope and cost of the necessary repairs.

How it's done:

The mechanic will inspect the CV joints as well as the other nearby components of your front suspension system.

How important is this service?

This can become a big issue if you ignore it. The question is whether you’re able to discover this minor issue, and have it repaired, before it becomes a major one. Book a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis of the clicking noise as soon as possible.

Kia Spectra L4-2.0L - Coolant is leaking - Saint Louis, Missouri
He was clean, professional, courteous. He did not mind my 6 and 3 year old kids being curious. He explained what was wrong, showed me the radiator leak, and even showed me what he would have to do to fix my car (where the thermostat was located). He told me what routine things needed done (oil change, air filter change, ...) after showing me what they looked like, but he was not pushy about me having them done RIGHT NOW like other places I have gone. I set up an appointment to get my car fixed after the diagnoses and even set up my hubby's van to get fixed. The repairs for BOTH vehicles is less than the quote I got for just my car from meineke. The best part is I don't have to sit in a lobby with 2 kids while my car gets fixed. Sure, Dobbs and all will drive you home, but then there is the hassle of taking car seats for my kids out of my car, putting them in the repair shops car and then reversing that. Forget that. I'm not doing it. I already told my mother-in-law about Luke.

Kia Optima L4-2.4L - Valve Cover Gasket - Schaumburg, Illinois
He was very nice and friendly from the very movement he showed up. He was on time and after quick meet and explaining job, he went straight to work. He explained how he was going to perform Gasket valve replacement and CV axle replacement job. I left him with his work and after few hrs, when I got back. He was finishing up with the job. He explained to me in detail what was done and what he recommends to make make sure car stays in good condition. Over all I was very happy with the experience and would call and recommend "yourmachinic.com" and specially Franky to all who I know. Thank you Franky
