Nissan has also teamed with Universal Technical Institute to offer students Nissan Automotive Technician Training that allows them to work on the entire array of Infiniti and Nissan vehicles. When complete, this training enables the student to have the kind of skills and knowledge deemed the most marketable to Nissan dealerships.
This is a nine-week program that, when complete, provides the student with 60% of the credits needed to become a Nissan or Infiniti tech. This means that employment can begin upon graduation.
During the weeks of training, you will be credentialed in:
- Express service
- Nissan electrical systems
- Nissan chassis and engines
- Nissan drive trains and climate systems
Emphasizing electrical systems, the training also enables you to handle all aspects of Nissan repair and gives you the credits that both Infiniti and Nissan dealerships seek in their technicians.
