Arrived on time, knew exactly what he was doing, replaced the gear shift cable assembly on our 4Runner with the OEM part we had purchased separately from eBay. Mechanic completed repair then test drove the vehicle, vehicle now shifts gears like new. Great job, reasonable price, mechanics down the street told us it would be awhile before they could get to our 4Runner even AFTER we would have had to pay almost a hundred dollars just to have it towed to them because the vehicle was not drive-able with the shifter cable broken. YourMechanic was the right choice at the right time for us. We don't know where all of the unfair negative reviews are coming from on the internet but they do not reflect our sterling experience with this company.

Theodore saved me from an unnecessary repair. He’s honest and will not swindle you. I requested that he replace my rear brakes, because a previous shop stated they’re worn. He looked at them and determined they’re new. He found other issues that I’ll later remedy, but didn’t take advantage of an opportunity to just do what I asked for and make me pay for it unnecessarily. He’s a good guy. I’ll be requesting he return for my future vehicle service needs.
