Code P1345 Replaced CAM Sensor. Wouldn't start. Put OLD Sensor back and it starts. However, only runs good for 15 miles and then stalls. Have to wait 15 mins or so and then it will restart but will do it again. Should I replace the crankshaft sensor? Where is it located?
My car has 274000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
The crankshaft sensor is on the front of engine below and behind the crankshaft pulley. The air gap on the new sensor should be set to .020 to .060. If gap is too big it will not start and if too close it will get damaged.
