What is the purpose for having 2 thermostats in my 2013 crystler 200
My car has an automatic transmission.

Your vehicle has two thermostats, a primary and a secondary. The primary and secondary thermostats have different temperature profiles with respect to their opening temperature because they are located on different areas of the engine. The primary thermostat is located on the front of the water plenum in the thermostat housing inlet. The secondary thermostat is located in the cylinder head under the water plenum.

Accelerating from red light, car jerks; also at 25-35 mph
Hello there. Many different faults can cause the vehicle to jerk and have acceleration issue. The most likely cause of these are spark plugs (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/spark-plugs-replacement), battery (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/battery-replacement), alternator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/alternator-replacement), fuel pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-pump-replacement), low transmission fluid (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/transmission-fluid-service), MAF sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/mass-airflow-sensor-replacement), vacuum...
