Just to verify can you give me the fault code that your code reader found. It should start with a P. Sometimes the generic code from the reader has a different description than VW uses. Your car does not use exhaust temp sensors it uses Oxygen sensors.

It is probably going to be related to the Oxygen sensors I am just looking at the repair manual to verify. Some of the online definitions use generic terms that do not apply to the way VW systems work. Just bear with me for a few more minutes while I verify.

For your engine the the Oxygen sensors compare the the data from each sensor to monitor the efficiency of the catalytic converter. This fault would that you have would be related to the oxygen sensor that is located under the car in front of the catalytic converter. With these sensors you will need a scan tool to delete the learned values of the old ones that would require a VW specific scan tool.

it means even if i change the oxygen sensor still i need to delete the data through the tools ?

Yes that is correct. It is a function of the newer software used in the ECM

There are three on your car. Bank one sensor one is right near the exhaust manifold. The one you need is right before the catalytic converter. If the have picture that is the one you need
Customer

My car is not turning on i even changed the battery now and bought a new one the electric is there the lights come up but the engine is not turning on, could it be because of the o2 sensor that i need ? Sorry to bother u again

It’s no problem. The O2 sensor won’t cause the car to not start. It’s hard to guess what could cause this issue. Are there any other faults stored?
Customer
