Vibration in drive shaft when excellerating
My car has 68000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
Hi there - there is a flexible coupling in the driveshaft that connects the transmission to the driveshaft called a "flex disk" or "guibo". This disk is essentially a rubber and fiber donut that flexes as it transmits power, and can disintegrate over time with even normal use. It needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, this is not a service YourMechanic offers at this time. Thanks for thinking of us though!
