Mechanic's Assistant: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
On the dashboard
Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your A4?
2006
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your A4 yourself? What have you tried so far?
I tried to start it this morning and nothing is happening. I’d like to get some idea of what it could be before calling out a mechanic.
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
No. That’s it.

Although this may not seem like a battery concern. That is the first place to check. Inspect the cables to make sure they are tight and clean, make sure the cables going to the chassis and fuse box are also tight and clean. Test the voltage on the battery posts, battery cables, high amp fuses, and the large wire on the alternator. All readings should match and a good reading will be around 12.6 volts.
Thank you for seeking us for help, I hope I provided what was needed. Press reply if you need to follow up. If you liked my answer please let me know so I can mark your question complete. Moose
