i know Toyota is a good vehicle no matter what, top rated for reliability. i know besides your basic maintenance like [brakes](/topics-brake-toyota/), tires and fluid changes. i dont see them in the shop much, i have seen a few of early 2000 models for EVAP leaks, they where purge valve issue,
i hope this answers your question please let me know if you need more help.

Try to take out the battery on your key FOB to see if the trunk still opens when you turn off the car? You may also want to check the key FOB for a stuck trunk button. If problem goes...
