I changed the thermostat 2 years ago and coolant level is good. When I drive for 15 minutes my heat goes back on and temperature goes back to normal

This usually means there is an air pocket in the heater core. Did you check the coolant level in the overflow jug or in the actual [radiator](/topics-radiator-toyota/)? I would pressure test the cooling system as you may have a very small leak you can't see easily with it.

Ok, I still suggest either pressure testing the system or having it pressure tested because no heat at first really indicates an air pocket in there.

Sorry for the delay.
To get rid of the air pocket, you will have to get the front of the car up on ramps or maybe jack it up.
Then run it with the radiator cap off until you get heat at idle. You may have to race the [engine](/topics-engine-toyota/) to do this. Once you have heat at idle, turn the car off and let it cool. Top off the coolant and it should be good.
If youhave air in there though, you had to have lost some fluid for the air to come in and take it's place.
