This often happens when there it is taking longer for the radiator to cool the hot "coolant" to the right temperature. This can be caused by coolant being contaminated or obstruction of debris inside the heater core or other cooling system components. If you haven’t had the radiator flushed yet, you should do this for starters to see if this resolves this issue. If not, please have a professional mechanic inspect your cooling system to determine if a fault exists.
