Q: The engine stays at 2000 RPM when shifting
This morning I started my car to go to my work, and I noticed that as it was shifting it went from 1000, to 1500, to 2000 rpms then remained at 2000 rpm. I'm a bit concerned because I know about timing issues in cars and that it can damage the engine, my dad was a good person to ask about cars but he is no longer alive and I'm on my own, please help!!!
