Hello Tiffany. Nice to hear from you today! I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating.
Have you had the fault codes re-checked in your engine computer using a fully compatible scan tool plugged into your vehicle to see if any new codes are coming up with this issue at all?

Nor since it started acting up. I had my check engine light come on and off 3 days after I bought it and it says it was a vacuum leak at the intake manifoldP0171I'm afraid to drive it

Thank you for your reply and that information as this does help me better understand the situation.
Please give me one moment to type out some info for you. I’ll be right back!
Thank you for holding Tiffany!
The code P0171 indicates the engine is running lean. I recommend having the fault codes re-checked to see if any new codes are coming up. If it is just the lean code coming up, that can cause this issue to occur.
The lean code can be caused by a vacuum leak needing to be repaired or an issue with a weak fuel pump or injectors that are operating incorrectly. Those will all need to be checked into to help identify the component that is at fault so that component can then be repaired to resolve this issue.
If it is not running properly and you're afraid to drive it then I recommend locating a mobile mechanic that can come out to you to check this for you or to have it towed to a shop or dealer so they can look into this issue for you to locate the problem to repair it correctly.

Ok. I was hoping to not have to tow it. I don't want to break it. Lol

Unfortunately with it running lean those components mentioned above in my last reply have to be checked into to identify the fault properly so it can then be repaired. Running the engine too long in a lean condition can sometimes damage the engine internally. I wish I had some better news to give you on this.

Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
