Recently purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado z71 5.3L engine and truck has a rough idle and hesitation on accelerating. Throttle body fine, no codes. Put seafoam in vacuum and gave truck a tune up problem still occurring. It seems it's a pretty common issue but how can I fix it?

Hello. Most of the time this is caused by an issue with the variable valve timing. Since you do not know the history of the engine it may have some sludge built up inside which is going to affect the variable valve timing. I would flush the engine oil and then run some seafoam through the intake to see if it clears up. If the problem persists then it may need a fuel injection cleaning.
