You got it. If it's the Fusible link that is bolted in. Then yes, this will certainly affect the starter operation

I do find on these older Nissan's back in the day they installed allot of remote starts so if a battery goes dead or a main fusible link blow or depending on the fuses blown, it could cause it to activate where it can keep the starter from engaging

It sounds like you are having an ABS issue. I have seen this issue before where a wheel speed sensor was bad and because the module couldn't determine wheel speed, it would not allow the vehicle to move. It could...

Hi - having changed the brake light switch (most common source of this problem) and confirmed that brake lights are now working (if not, check brake light wiring - switch does more than brake lights), the shift interlock solenoid (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-shift-interlock-solenoid)...
Hello, thank you for writing in. The fuel pump is part of a unit called the fuel module. The module also houses a float that raises and lowers with the level of the fuel. That movement is then translated into...
Hi Taylor. Thanks for contacting us today. A noise like you are describing is often caused by wheel bearings that have lost lubrication and are wearing out. It can also be due to a loose serpentine belt or drive belt....
