The vehicle sometimes is very slow to catch. H
Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Doesn't seem to be much increase in fuel consumption
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
It's a 2010 Nissan Sentra 2.o..The headgasked repair was done at a local garage
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
There was a diagnosis of either an Oxygen sensor or [coolant](/topics-coolant-nissan/) temperature sensor prior to repair which wasnt replaced but didn't show up after the repair

Thanks a lot for the question
Can you connect the OBDII scanner and try to read the fault codes?
If the car doesn't start, we need to check the fuel pressure and if there is sparks. Did you change the [spark plugs](/topics-spark-plug-nissan/)? Are the coil working correctly?
About the other issues, they should be reflected in the OBDII connector.
Thanks!

High idle can be caused from several things. Your Saturn's extremely high idle is likely being caused by air leaking into the intake manifold. It's called a vacuum leak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/is-it-safe-to-drive-with-a-vacuum-leak). This can be caused by a hose that has fallen...

Hi there. The engine has valve guide oil seals that prevents oil puddling up onto the valve and allowing the valve to suck in the oil. The valve guide seals are leaking (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/smoke-from-engine-or-exhaust-inspection) too much and causing excessive oil to...
Hello - the first task here is to capture the problem codes turning on the Check Engine light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-does-the-check-engine-warning-light-mean). Most auto parts stores will do this for free - on a time-available basis. It is probably worth checking for problem...
