Q: Need to install new wiper switch on my 1966 chevelle SS
The wiper switch is wore out. I need to know if I can change without pulling the dash and how.
My car has 68000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
Hi Charles. Thanks for the question today. If I recall correctly, the wiper switch on the driver side of the dash does require removal of the dash, as I don’t think you can access it from behind the firewall. It’s probably best to refer to the service and repair manual or consult with a Chevelle owners online forum, where you can get a few other opinions.
