My Jeep occasionally shakes hard on start up. I will turn it off give it a “break” and then it starts fine. About 3 time since this started happened it didn’t turn over at all but again after a break it’s fine. Been happening for a year now. Alternator is new, battery is new, starter wire harness is new. Had it checked out numerous times and it doesn’t generate a code or nothing glaring during an inspection. Any thoughts?

Hi RD. Thanks for contacting us tonight. There are several possible sources of an erratic vibration, such as clogged fuel system components, or worn out ignition parts (spark plugs in most cases). I’ve also seen this issue caused by a damaged cold start injector or idle control valve. You might want to have a professional mechanic complete an onsite inspection to help diagnose the root issue, so the correct repairs can be completed.
