Hi Luke. Nice to see you today! I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating. Please give me one moment to type out some information for you. Sit tight one minute... I'll be right back! Thanks for holding, Luke. Unfortunately, even a small amount of water in the oil can do harm. The water will dilute the oil and break down the viscosity, which will keep the oil from lubricating and cooling internal engine parts as well as it should. Over long periods of time, this can be very harmful to the engine. So, my advice here, would be to not drive the vehicle very far or very long, and try to avoid getting the engine to higher rpm's and speeds. Have the oil and filter replaced as soon as possible.

Ok, so is it safe to drive 10km to a mechanic?
Automotive Expert
It should be ok to drive 10k. But I would not recommend much more than that.

Ok, thanks a lot
