I just got a 2011 kia sorento. Been running fine up until today. I drove it to work and to bank and then I go to get in it after work and it won't start. It just clicks tried to boost it off and still won't crank. Husband said night before it did that to him but he had to turn key over hard to get it to start. I didn't have to do that

the starter is a super common failure on these causing no crank you will need to test to make sure you are getting power to the starter and the ground cables on the battery are clean and tight.

Ok so it sounds like the starter? What about a relay switch or fuse. Bc we've never had a problem out of the vehicle before

the starter will fail all of a sudden and because your husband reported it was hard to start as well I would suspect the starter. a test light or meter is used to make sure it is getting power.
power runs through the ignition switch , starter relay and the PCM the transmisison range switch is also involved see wiring diagram of your starter circuit below.

you can check the 7.5 amp starter fuse rear left side of dash or try to see if putting in neutral makes a difference other than that a meter or test light is needed to see if you are getting the power signal to the starter.
