You mentioned replacing the brake pads and you are hearing some noise, so that leads me to ask a few questions. What type of pads did you use? Were they ceramic or some other compound? What is the condition of the brake rotors? Were they replaced/machined or left alone?

Looks like you may be offline so I will add a quick answer here. If the rotors were not replaced or machine that might be part of the issue. Also if the pads are very hard, such as ceramic, these tend to make more noise than other compounds simply because of what they are made of. Also, sometimes it takes a bit of a break in period to fully seat the pads so some good amount of driving with some heavy braking can help quieten them down some. Hope that helps.
