Hello, if you have a fluid leak it will need to be repaired otherwise it will keep leaking and having hard steering issues. It can be a leaking line, switch, or a problem with a leaking pump or steering gear. You will need to isolate the leak to make the repairs.

Where is it leaking from, silver gasket of what? It wont blow out of the reservoir unless it is over filled. Antifreeze leaking wont cause a lack of power steering unless it is making a belt slip for the steering system.

That would be an antifreeze leak and should not affect the power steering. If it is blowing past the cap, the seal may have failed or there is an engine issue and it is overheating and blowing past the cap.

Yes, just keep an eye on the engine temperature and top off the cooling system, just don't open the system when the engine is hot.

I had a feeling you had two different issues, if the belt is gone and it runs the alternator, you will need to get it towed.
