I changed out my old headlights and taillights yesterday and now my right turn signal is blinking fast and I can't seem to find the issue
Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the bulbs? Have you checked the connection?
Yes,I checked and made sure they were all connected properly and it's still blinking fast
Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?
It's a 2001 jeep wrangler sport
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Wrangler yourself? What have you tried so far?
Yes, I changed all the lights on the Jeep to after market lights and I'm wondering if the problem might be the battery because the battery in there now is old and the terminals have corrosion, could that be the issue?
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
I think that's it

it is possible that battery or corrosion on cables causing it , so make sure no loose grounds, but the Fast
blinking means ussualy one or more turn signal bulb is burned out or not getting power , next ill be the flasher relay ,next will be the turn signal switch in steering column ?
what is the mileage on it now ?
are all the turn signals coming and blinking fasr or only one of them ,front or back ?

It's only the turn signals on the right side it's both front and back and when I turn the signal off the right turn signal stays up on the dash even when the car is turned off, and the current mileage is 97,000Unfortunately I can't call because my phone doesn't have service

prior to replacing the after market bulbs, you did not have that problem?
did you try to go back to the original bulbs to see if the problem is solved doing that ,in case the bulbs are the issue

Okay, thank you for this information I'm going to check out the wiring later and see if that's the issue. Also I don't know if this is important but it was optional on the new headlights to rewire the turn signals to the headlights, do you think that would fix the issue, or maybe one of the wires isn't grounded correctly? All of the bulbs were replaced yesterday and the new lights were supposed to just be plug and play but I'll go through and make sure that all the wires are good.

To be honest, I will be guessing, I d rather you follow the wiring
I can not tell without looking at the optional wire diagram where does it tie into ect
If it was a plug and play and no wires were cut, then it has to be in the wiring or it is a coincidence where the turn signal switch failed and shorted out, if look at the turn signal wiring that is where they all tie in to
and make sure you check the ground points ( G106, G107, G200) THE DIAGRAM SHOWS THE LOCATION IF YOU LOOK CLOSE
