My car has an automatic transmission.
The 1998 Firebird came with different engines and each one the repair is different. Since you say you have a blown head gasket, do you know why it overheated to blow the head gasket in the first place? You may have more problems than just a blown gasket and may have a cracked cylinder head or maybe just a gasket. You should also check to see if there is coolant in the oil. If there is coolant in the oil then you may have damaged internal bearings from too much coolant inside oil and will damage crankshaft bearings and other bearings internal to the engine. If it just a head gasket then supply the vehicle detailed information and engine and transmission so a proper quote can be given.
