Q: How do the Illuminated Entry lights work?

Your car is equipped with an Illuminated Entry system that turns on the lights to provide better visibility when getting into the vehicle. Here’s how it works:

• When you use the remote to unlock the doors, the interior lights should come on, including the puddle lights. The parking lights should also turn on.

• The same thing should happen when you open any door.

The lights will turn off when any of the following conditions are met:

• You turn the ignition to ON

• The Lock button is pressed on the remote

• You lock the car with the keypad

• 25 seconds have passed since you unlocked the doors

Tips

The interior lights will stay on if you used the dimmer switch to turn them on, or if you have one of the doors open.
