If the power liftgate is turned on to MAX or ¾ setting, then you can open the trunk automatically. There are three different ways to use the power liftgate: 1. With the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter. Press the unlock button on the RKE transmitter, and then press the power liftgate button until the trunk begins to move. 2. With the overhead console. When the driver door is unlocked, press the power liftgate button on the overhead console. 3. With the trunk touchpad. When the doors are unlocked, press the touchpad on the trunk.
