you would need a ac gauge set you can rent them from any auto parts store, if this work was done at a shop it should be taken back for them to fix, they obviously missed something

Do you know how much it usually cost for the fix? I have searched it might be the compressor or clutch

it really depends on what is broken, it could just be a small leak or compressor or havc module, really could be anything, until its diagnosed you wont know what its going to cost to fix, but when you do take it in before you approve anything you can always ask me questions

theres really nothing to ask, you just let them do their job and hope its not anything bad, it sounds like a small leak to me though, they should be able to show you that
Still not sure what you need?

Hi. It could be the struts, but then again, it could be a lot of things. Some other usual suspects include the control arm bushings, link pins and ball joints. A trained mechanic will be able to listen to the...
Hi there. Most of the time this is due to a loss of vacuum in the engine. A loss of vacuum drastically reduces the performance of the power brakes. I typically start by checking for any vacuum leaks in the...
Hi there, if the ticking is only there when the vehicle is first started, and then it goes away, it is typically due to an exhaust leak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/is-it-safe-to-drive-with-an-exhaust-leak). When the exhaust leaks around the exhaust manifold it will make this...
For this, what you'd want to do is put the kill switch on the power wire that goes to the starter, that makes the starter engage. Because then, if somebody tries to steal it, the starter won't go. But if...

Steering wheel shaking could be caused by a couple of things. Check the condition of the front tires for uneven tread wear and how much tread is left. Having the tires balanced and aligned may resolve the issue. If not,...
This code (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/throttle-actuator-control-throttle-body-range-performance-by-robert-kulp) points to a problem in the throttle control actuator circuit. The ECU watches signals to and from the throttle body controls and reads the resistance in these circuits to make sure it tracks discrepancies in the signals;...
Hi there - your problem may be a weak fuel pump, and a bad starter solenoid (relay) (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-starter-relay). The whine you now hear while the key is turned on is probably the fuel pump - a good sign. The fact...
Hi there - I would check for problem codes, whether the Check Engine light is illuminated or not. It would seem that something else is not quite right with your engine (https://www.yourmechanic.com/question/my-car-is-not-starting-what-might-be-the-problem-by-aditya-d). If your engine is cranking (i.e. actually spinning...
