Hi! My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will be able to assist you. I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with your vehicle. Don’t worry though, we’ll be able to figure this out. Thank you for taking the time to let us help you out with this problem and hopefully we can sort it out quickly. Please understand that I do not know your knowledge or capabilities so I may need to ask questions to find out basic information to help solve your specific problem. Sometimes it may take a moment for me to respond because I may have to look up information about your concern. I appreciate your patience and will provide responses as soon as possible. There are many possible causes for this problem. It could be faulty wiring, ignition system fault, module fault, fuel system problem, [engine](/topics-engine-ford/) sensor failure, etc. To determine the problem you would need to use a scan tool that can read engine data and record data so you can see what specifically is happening. Is the fuel trim off?, is the crankshaft sensor signal gone?, etc. This would be the only way to figure it out. Without testing I would suspect that you are losing fuel pressure either because of a bad fuel pump or a problem with the wiring/module fault. If the check engine light is on, that would help out a lot because it could identify a specific fault. You would need to have the computer scanned to get the trouble codes stored in the module. If you can give me these codes, I would be able to pinpoint a specific cause for this problem. My goal is to give you the best service possible and to help you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know. If I’m not online at the time, I will respond ASAP when I get back.

Can you check fuel pressure?

Sorry but im not paying 26 bucks to talk on the phone
Automotive Expert
Can you check fuel pressure?

Not sure how to
Automotive Expert
The system will give you an automated phone call offer to speak to one of us on the phone **. It is optional.** Some folks prefer to talk on the phone. If you don’t, please ignore it as I cannot control the offer from popping up. You would need a fuel pressure gauge set and connect it to the fuel rail.

I don't have oneOnly tool i have that's fuel related is a disconnect tool
Automotive Expert
Ok then you'll have to enlist some help from someone. It will be necessary to check the fuel pressure.

Idk anyone
Automotive Expert
Check your local auto part store to see if they can loan you one.

Ok
Automotive Expert
Good luck!

Are there any other things i could try
Automotive Expert
You can press the schrader valve on the fuel rail where you connect the fuel pressure gauge to see if any fuel is coming out. It won't be accurate to determine the fuel pressure but you can see if fuel sprays out.

Whats that
Automotive Expert
Do you know what the fuel rail is that the injectors are connected to?

How close is it to the fiter
Automotive Expert
It's on top of the engine by the intake manifold.

I founds some codes
Automotive Expert
What are they?

Po304, po532, po174
Automotive Expert
None of those would cause stalling. That's a misfire, lean, and A/C pressure code. The fuel pressure is probably low since you have the lean code.

what would be the issue ive just figured out im not getting pressure to the engime
Automotive Expert
You'll need to check for voltage at the fuel pump. If it's getting voltage then the pump is bad and will have to be replaced.

I cant access it unless theres a way to do it without dropping itBecause if im correct this car the pump is inside the tank
Automotive Expert
Yes you will have to drop the tank to access it.

theres no way to check the voltage without that
Automotive Expert
You can check the pink/black wire for voltage at the inertia fuel shutoff switch.

What should the reading be
Automotive Expert
It should have battery voltage.

Ok
Automotive Expert
Ok.

My car won't let me drive passed 2500 rpm. And I have no idea why it is doing that when I recently bought it.
