Since you were not able to reply to the info request I sent. I cannot be as accurate and thorough as I would like. I hope what I can provide does help.
A couple of the possible causes can be a weak battery, a damaged code chip in the key, a faulty PATS transceiver in the steering column.

Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
This could possibly be a wheel bearing failure. Wheel bearings can go dry causing a grinding or growling noise when the wheels are spinning. I would recommend having your suspension system inspected (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-making-a-noise-inspection) for any play or faulty parts. When...
The noise you hear may be the flywheel and torque convertor making a rattling knocking noise. The noise may come and go when you put it in and out of gear. If this is the case the manufacturer recommends the...
All three of these problems are probably unrelated and may need to be addressed separately. I would recommend having the vehicle thoroughly examined by a knowledgable technician, such as one from YourMechanic, since multiple repairs may be required. The smoking...
Hi there. There are a couple of different reasons why a single cylinder would be misfiring. A common issue would be a lack of continuity throughout your spark plug coil, wire, and plug. Another problem you may be having is...
Hello - You likely have a shorted coil (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ignition-coil-replacement) or ignition module. One of the ignition components is pulling too much current blowing the fuse (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuse-replacement). Check the coils and ignition module for shorts or other conditions drawing too much...
Hi and thanks for contacting YourMechanic. Check the air filter (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/air-filter-replacement) for it is not dirty. It may sound silly, but if the air filter is dirty the engine will not start up. Starting fluid produces its own oxygen so...
Hello - YES, as long as the oil leak isn't causing a misfire and there are no pending codes (Check Engine not on yet), you should be fine. If you are anxious about passing the emissions test, you can always...
Hi Justin. Thanks for taking time to contact us today. First off - don't worry, you're not the first person to make this common error. Although higher viscosity engine oil is not always the best way to protect an engine,...
