Hi Ray. Nice to see you today! I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating. Please give me one moment to type out some information for you. Sit tight one minute... I'll be right back! Thanks for holding, Ray. The P0058 is a fairly straight forward code pointing to a problem with the internal heater for the [oxygen sensor](/topics-oxygen-sensor-dodge/) for bank-2/sensor-2. The on-board computer uses this internal heater to get the sensor to normal operating temps within a matter of seconds on cold starts. This sensor is located under the vehicle, mounted to the exhaust behind the converter on the passenger's side. For an image location view, click here: https://bit.ly/3iL0ub8. Inspect the electrical connector and wire harness to the sensor for any loose, broken or damaged wires. If no problems are found, replace the sensor. To replace, unplug the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor from the exhaust pipe.

this sensor is down stream not upstream?
Automotive Expert
That's correct. The "sensor-2" is a downstream sensor. ("Sensor-1" would be upstream)

Would you recommend replacing both downstream and upstream sensors
Automotive Expert
With Dodge vehicles, if you replace the downstream and not the upstream, it 'can' affect the upstream sensor. So, yes, with Dodge, best bet it to replace both at the same time with the same brand name sensor.

Awesome! Thank you for the tremendous help.
Automotive Expert
You're welcome, Ray! Glad I could be of some help today! I hope the job goes smoothly for you! Have a great day! Thank you for choosing Just Answer for your questions!

one more question. What is "Right Bank and Left Bank"?
Automotive Expert
On this vehicle, right bank is the passenger's side. Left bank is the drivers side. It's the side of the engine seen as if you are sitting in the vehicle.

Thank you again.
Automotive Expert
You're welcome, Ray. Glad to be of some help!
