Q: Do universal steering rack boots work
I Currently own a Nissan S-Cargo, and am having a hard time finding Steering boots. Would a generic universal steering rack boot work? (example; http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Grommet-Steering-Rack-Boot-Universal-SRB1/3002).
If you have broken steering rack and pinion side boots and cannot find replacements then aftermarket universal boots can be tried. This would be better than no boots at all. They are generic and there is a possibility they may not fit correctly.
