Q: Difficult to get car to turn over

asked by on February 05, 2016

It takes time to actually get the engine to turn over and start. There is no noise coming from the engine when I initially turn the key.

Battery Replacement $247.05 - $377.49 Get a Quote

Hi. If your vehicle is slow to crank or has trouble starting, this may be a sign of a problem with the battery. I would recommend having the battery tested by a professional technician, such as one from YourMechanic, to first ensure it is not the problem, and then proceed from there. If it is said to be defective, the battery will need to be replaced.
