My vehicle it's a Chevy equinox 99 when it's not running in a neutral it will roll back in force but when I started and put it in gear it won't move Mechanic's Assistant: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the brake switch? No but thats right thinking it was AA,safety switch brake issue . Maybe the abs sensor . But it won't move when running but when off it will roll back and forth Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your Equinox? 99 i think Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Equinox yourself? What have you tried so far? Yes and just all little things but. Brake safety switch in tranny

Thank you I spoke with the tech ,and I think it's sealed transmission . It will roll when off and in neutral, But when it is started it won't move but a tiny bit f or reverse, Or when I put it in neutral while its running it won't move .maybe internal or shift sensor.

Even if there is no dipstick , there is still a way to check the fluid usually it will have to be raised up on a lift to check it . Can you tell if there are any leaks ?

Hi there - no, it is not necessary to drop the tank to replace the refueling vent valve (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-evaporation-vent-solenoid). However, it would be helpful to have the least amount of fuel possible in the fuel tank, simply to minimize spillage...

Car loses power and makes whirring sound when warm
Depending on the specific type of sound, this may be related to an alternator that may be starting to fail. As you may know, the alternator charges the battery while the engine runs by generating amperage and recharging the battery...
1995 Honda Accord - Failed emissions due to having 1500 of 900 NOx ppm. Is there an easy fix here? They are saying it will cost me
If you are producing too much NOX this means your combustion is running too hot. This is usually caused by the engine running too lean or the EGR system is not flowing enough to cool the combustion. You should remove...
