Shifter cable slipped off i put back on

How old is the battery? Is it more than 3 years old? WIll it pass a load test if checked at a local auto parts store?

The original battery is 2 months oldI put in one from my sand rail and it started and did the same thing voltage dropped after ac kicked on but when off its at 14.3Alternator passed at autozone

Ok we are going in weird directions here, the original post pointed to a problem with the shifter cable and it not moving??

Ive read that the shifter cable on the tran when bad, can cause this issue which i dont understand.I never had battery problem till the shifter slipped of its connection

I can see the shift cable popping off, the cable end grommet can fail over time. How old is the battery that is in the truck now from the sand rail? It has 14 volts not running? Max a battery should have is 12.6 maybe 13 volts with the key off.

When its at idle with no Ac on volts needle is at 14 give or take when ac is kicked on its down around 11 12ishCan a 2 month battery go bad if i killed it dead a few times?

Yes it can cause a bad cell issue in the battery.

The throttle body may need to be cleaned, if the base idle is too low when the voltage is low, the throttle body may not raise the idle speed enough. If you raise the idle speed the voltage should come up. You need to run a full diagnostic on all modules to check for that issue with the stabilitrak system.

The pcm controls the charging system and the idle speed. A full diagnostic check should be done to see if there are low voltage codes or a problem with the throttle body.

while driving if ac is off the voltage heads right back to normalIf im driving and ac is on and i pick up speed needle does not move back up but when i shut off it does.

The ac is a load on the [engine](/topics-engine-chevy/), run a full diagnostic check on the vehicle, a shop will probably need to do that for you.

Understood, a shop would be best to check the whole system over and give you a straight answer on the charging system dropping out when the ac is on and abs system for the stabilitrak, that would require a scan tool check.
