HI In all likelyhood the key circuitboard for being recognized to start the vehicle was damaged and you will need to replace the key fob and have it programmed. But give me a few minutes to see if you can try to reprogram this one without a scan tool

Can you give me instructions on how to deactivate the anti theft system , I believe that's what's causing the car to not startThat's not a problem to follow those other procedures but just want to get my car started for now

HI It is not quite that simple if the key is damaged circuit wise. Below is to reprogram and to relearn the theft lock so it will start If two currently recognized keys are not available, follow this procedure to program the first key. This procedure will take approximately 30 minutes to complete for the first key. The vehicle must be off and all of the keys you wish to program must be with you. 1. Insert the new vehicle key into the ignition. 2. Turn to ON/RUN. The security light will come on. 3. Wait 10 minutes until the security light turns off. 4. Turn to LOCK/OFF. 5. Repeat Steps 2–4 two more times. After the third time, turn to ON/RUN; the key is learned If this does not work, there is no way to bypass the theftlock to start it and a new key MUST be made and programmed before the vehicle will start

OK thanks man

Seemingly misfires
