This may be a good time to have another shop take on your alignment and suspension inspection to verify the suspension is solid and is not binding. Here is a great guide to testing your suspension for wear. [https://www.total4x4.com.au/magazine/4x4-guides/how-to-check-car-suspension/](https://www.total4x4.com.au/magazine/4x4-guides/how-to-check-car-suspension/) And here is a basic explanation of alignments and a diy way of doing this at home. Again a professional alignment is your best bet if driving on the road. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZUgNJjUQLY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZUgNJjUQLY) I have found that some shops will recommend all 4 if only 1 is bad for ball joints as they are usually done in pairs.

My car is shaking, mostly only when idling and the engine light is on. What is a common cause of this?

Nonstop backfiring
Backfiring (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/what-causes-a-car-to-backfire) occurs when the air fuel charge in a cylinder(s) fires at the wrong moment often when the exhaust valve is opening. There are backfires into the intake manifold, too, however. If during your work on the engine you...
My car pulls/jerks to right when I slow down.
If this is happening without pressing the brake pedal, this may be a sign of worn out wheel bearings. A wheel bearing (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services1/wheel-bearings-replacement) will usually fail due to pitting or small damage on the surface of the rollers or the...
